History

Innovative Parachute Technologies (IPT) is an established woman-owned small business located in Phoenix, Arizona. IPT specializes in the design, development, and manufacturing of military and commercial parachute systems and related products and a wide variety of other technical textile products.

As a manufacturer of life saving products, quality is a top priority. IPT has adopted a higher-level quality system that is compliant with the stringent requirements of ISO9001:2000.

The founders of IPT have extensive experience in the production of both military and commercial parachute. The span of their background includes product design, qualification testing, and manufacturing of US military and commercial parachute systems and related products. Together they have over 40 years of combined experience in all facets of the parachute industry.

Capabilities

IPT is a full-service manufacturer. Our expertise begins with procurement of first quality raw materials (ie cloth, webbings, tapes, hardware, and cords), to design, development, fabrication, and final product testing. Our capabilities and expertise expanded from simple component parts to harnesses, containers, round canopies, and ram air canopies and reserves. IPT manufacturers items for the commercial parachute industry as well as the US Military.

IPT does not limit itself to building what we have a history of manufacturing. Our highly qualified and innovative engineering department operates using CAD software that allows them to generate precision drawing and patterns in a matter of minutes, that can be transformed into your requirements in short order. No matter what you need, IPT can make it for you!
